The Quality Assurance and Strategy Department of Sumgait State University (SSU) has been organized since December 2023 on the basis of the Department of Quality Assurance in Education and the Center for Strategic Development. The quality assurance and strategy department leads the formulation, review and implementation of policies and procedures with a strategy focused on quality assurance and its development in the university. Along with leading the institutional and program accreditation process, the department organizes the preparation of self-assessment reports, takes necessary measures for the formation and assimilation of the quality culture in the institution. The Department, which monitors and analyzes the current situation to control the implementation of the activities in the Annual Action Plan and Strategic Development Plan, conducts surveys in this direction, based on their results, prepares proposals for taking appropriate steps.
