1. US Embassy in Azerbaijan

The following activities were carried out within the framework of cooperation:

- Dana Donoho - in the 2016/2017 academic year, Kayla Motor - in the 2017-2018 academic year, Jack Morris - in the 2018-2019 academic year as an English teacher assistant in the Faculty of Philology within the framework of the USA "Fullbright ETA" program

- Based on the university's request, 15-week "English for academic purposes" (2021, October 18) trainings were held for teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages within the framework of the "Fellowship" program of the US Embassy. https://sdu.edu.az/az/news/2009

- The II round of trainings (February 21, 2022) was held for teaching staff teaching other specialized subjects. The training was conducted by Michael Moak, a specialist in English language teaching methodology and TESOL presented by the US Embassy in Azerbaijan. https://www.sdu.edu.az/az/news/2197

- Daniel Rosenbloom works as an English teacher's assistant in the 2024/2025 academic year within the framework of the "Fullbright ETA" program of the USA. https://www.sdu.edu.az/az/news/3138

2. British Council

With the organization of the British Council and the financial support of the BP company, online lessons are being held at Sumgayit State University in order to increase and improve the English language skills of 40 scientific and pedagogical staff of the university. Lessons are held three times a week in four groups according to language levels. The aim of the project is to apply the knowledge and skills acquired by the participants in English teaching groups at the university in the future.

3. Education Counselor of the Embassy of Turkey in Azerbaijan

- With the support of the consultancy, starting from the 2022-2023 academic year, Sadık Çetin, associate professor of Gaziantep University of the Republic of Turkey, was involved in the teaching process of the subject "Ottoman History" at Sumgait State University.

- An event on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey was held at SSU with the participation of Ali Reza Altunel, the education advisor of Turkey in Azerbaijan.
