Sumgayit State University organizes a 1-year and 6-month preparatory course for foreign citizens who want to study at the bachelor"s, master"s and doctoral levels.
        Lessons in the preparatory course are held in the Azerbaijani language, according to the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
At the end of the course, students who successfully pass the final exam are provided with a state certificate of education in a uniform form indicating that they have successfully completed the course. It should be noted that foreign citizens who do not pass the final exam have the opportunity to study again in the "Preparatory course".
       Foreign citizens with sufficient knowledge of the Azerbaijani language can start their studies in their chosen specialty without being involved in a preparatory course after passing an interview or by presenting a language proficiency certificate (if any).Start dates of classes in the preparatory course:

       1 year course: 01 October
       6-month course: January 1

       The tuition fee for the preparatory course is $1,000 for all majors.
