Leyla Allahverdiyeva was admitted to the Philology Faculty of the Azerbaijan University of Languages in 2006 and graduated from the same university in 2010. Later, she studied at the ADA University's Master's Program in Educational Management (MPEM) in 2016-2019. She started her professional career at ADA University in 2013. In November 2023, she was seconded to Kadir Has University in Istanbul, Turkey, with the ‘Erasmus+Staff mobility Program’ and became closely acquainted with the organization of library work. Later, she participated in the ‘Rethinking university libraries in the 100th Anniversary of the Republic of Turkey’ ANKOS international conference organized in Antalya.
She participated in local and foreign training programs such as ‘EBSCO E-Resources for Research and Education’, ‘Web of Science & InCites 2024’, ‘Scopus AI Training 2024’, ‘CopyrightX: Libraries’, ‘Basics of Project Management’. She was a member of the organizing committee of the book exhibition dedicated to the ‘100th Anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’ held in January 2024, and the ‘18th IFLA Interlending and Document Supply’ international conference in December 2024. She is the author of the scientific research ‘Game-based Teaching Approach in Teaching a Foreign Language in Middle Public Schools’ and the article ‘Assessing the Impact of Information Literacy Instruction on Graduate Students: A Quantitative and Sentiment Analysis’ published in the Taylor & Francis online journal.
