FOR APPLICANTS WHO ARE ACCEPTED TO THE BACHELOR"S DEGREE!
Document acceptance of applicants will be done by online format at Sumgait State University.
List of documents required during online registration:
· Applicant’s personal code (6 digits) and PIN (Personal Identification Number) code;
· Copy of high school certificate or sub-baccalaureate diploma;
· Copy of the military card (call-up paper for those not in military service);
· Medical reference. It is required for only applicants who are admitted to the "Physical education and pre-service teaching" specialty.
Applicants whose registration has been confirmed must submit the following documents to the relevant faculties upon coming to SSU:
· 3 copies of the ID card;
· The original form of the high school certificate;
· The original form of the sub-bachelor"s diploma;
· 4 colored photos of 3x4 cm sized;
· Medical reference. It is required for only applicants who are admitted to the "Physical education and pre-service teaching" specialty.
A copy of the tuition fee payment receipt from applicants who are admitted on a paid basis. Tuition fee is paid in any branch of Kapital bank OJSC across the republic to the bank account of Sumgait State University by specifying the applicant"s name, surname, father"s name and serial number of the ID card.
Detailed explanation for payment:
Step 1:
The applicant can pay with his personal account.
Step 2:
Applicants can pay via FIN or invoice on the "gpp.az" website.
For this, it is needed to enter the "gpp.az" website, select “EDUCATION” from all services, and then select the “HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS” section. The relevant information should be entered on the page that opens. Then the payment can be processed.
Step 3:
After setting the status of "Payment must be made", students approach the bank and state that they want to pay through the Government Payment Portal (GPO), and pay by submitting the invoice generated in PIN or post terminal.
Step 4:
The students can pay through the mobile application of the bank they use, from the relevant section of that application.
Privileged applicants must submit following additional documents:
Citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the status of displaced person:
· A copy of the applicant"s displaced person card, registered and notarized by the end of the current year.
Applicants who are members of the martyr"s family:
· A copy of the martyr"s family card;
· Copy of the deceased parent"s death certificate (notarized);
· A copy of the applicant"s birth certificate;
· Copy of parents" marriage certificate;
· Certificate issued by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
Note: A student who is a member of a martyr"s family is exempt from paying tuition fees until the age of 23.
Children of citizens who became disabled during the defense of the territorial integrity, independence and constitutional structure of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
· Certificate of the Medical-Social Expert Commission of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan which is providing information about the last examination (Electronic extract);
· A copy of the applicant"s birth certificate (notarized);
· Disability certificate (if any);
· A copy of the ID card of the disable person.
The children of the citizens who died for the freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, went missing related to the military operation and were declared dead by the court:
· A copy of the death certificate with the death reason, the court decision to declare the missing person dead (notarized);
· Copy of parents" marriage certificate;
· A copy of the applicant"s birth certificate.
Applicants who have lost their both parents or one parent has died, the other one is disabled of the I and II degree and deprived of parental care:
· A copy of the death certificate of the parent or parents (notarized);
· A copy of the applicant"s birth certificate;
· Certificate on providing information about the last examination of the Medical and Social Expert Commission of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Electronic extract).
Note: Privileged students who are studying full-time are exempted from paying tuition fees until the age of 23.
Applicants with I and II degrees of disability, as well as those with limited health opportunities under the age of 18;
· Certificate issued by the Medical-Social Expert Commission of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Electronic extract).
Note: The tuition fees of persons with I and II degrees of disability, as well as applicants with limited health opportunities under the age of 18, are paid from the state budget during the period of education, since 2019-2020 academic year.
War veterans - applicants:
· Copy of military ID;
· Electronic extract from “Zafar” subsystem;
· Certificate issued by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription.
Online registration will continue between 4-14th of September, 2023.
The Commission of Document Acceptance is open every day from 9:00 to 17:00.
Attention for applicants who want to register:
In order to know the choice of foreign language (English or Russian) during teaching at the university in advance, it is requested to insert a photo (in jpg format) of the paper with your language choice among the documents in your personal cabinet on the portal.edu.az website. (It is important for providing the efficiency of grouping students according to foreign languages).
Applicants who have been accepted to Sumgayit State University for the bachelor"s degree in the 2023/2024 academic year, can contact the deans of the faculties corresponding to their specialties to get additional information. Phone numbers are given in the table:
