SSU STUDENT AWARDED CERTIFICATE AT DEBATE FORUM: AUTUMN 2018
On December 3, final stage, award and closing ceremony of “Republican Youth Debate Forum: Autumn 2018” was held, co-organized by Youth and Sports Ministry of Azerbaijan Republic and “Debate at Civil Society” Public Union within National Debate Program.
Deputy minister of Youth and sports Intigam Babayev, the associate of Department of Youth policy and sports issues of President Administration of Azerbaijan Republic Kanan Firdovsioglu, Apparatus chief of Azerbaijan Youth Foundation Faig Gurbatov, head of Youth Unity of New Azerbaijan Party Seymur Orujov, chairman of Youth Organizations National Board Seymur Huseynov, “ASAN Volunteers” Youth organization head Bakhtiyar Islamov, vice-rectors of several higher education institutions and other state officials took part in the event.
The event launched with sounding State anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
After opening speeches, video-report of “Republican Youth Debate Forum: Autumn 2018” was displayed. The winners, as well as Regional representations of National Debate program: Mingachevir, Ganja, Shaki, Lankaran, Bilasuvar, Sabirabad and Sumgayit debate centers were awarded. II course student of the Faculty of History and geography of Sumgayit State University Anar Gurbanov was chosen “The best ninth speaker” and awarded the certificate.
