On December 5, the exhibition of the student of Engineering faculty Aliturab Kazimli was organized in the foyer of the university consisting of his handiwork by the method of pyrography (the process of burning designs on wood).

The portrait of our national hero Mubariz Ibrahimov and logo of SSU by Aliturab Rashidoglu drew special attention.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering docent Ulduz Aghayev spoke about inborn talent of Aliturab Kazimli, who is studying on the specialty of computer engineering. He noted that holding this exhibition aims to promote national-spiritual values and to reveal talented youth and artistic works. The folk art passed through several development stages beginning from creation period of humanity. Immortalizing national values leads to indelible history of the nation. Thus, Great leader Heydar Aliyev made substantial decisions in direction of restoring national values and historical memory of the nation, beginning from 1970s. Novel history and ethnography museums were constructed in the Azerbaijani regions and were called attention to advancement of folk art and protection of its current samples. President Ilham Aliyev also cared about preserving national spirit, developing and conveying it to future generations. Historical monuments were renewed, folk art days were organized. Ancient art fields like wood carving, hatting, carpentry, weaving, blacksmithing and pottery were preserved.

Aliturab Kazimli expressed his gratitude to rector of university Professor Elkhan Huseynov, Faculty dean docent Ulduz Aghayev for organizing the exhibition at the university.
