THE NEXT TRAINING-CONFERENCE “MEDIA AND EDUCATION DIALOGUE” BY THE ORGANIZATION OF MINISTRY OF EDUCATION
On December 14, the next training-conference on “Media and education dialogue” was held at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
The participants included vice-rector on Humanitarian and Social Issues of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Fikrat Rzayev, vice-rector on Teaching Eldar Aslanov, vice-rector on Science and Innovations Asaf Zamanov, employees of Ministry of Education and media, heads of press services of higher education institutions and education experts.
Before the conference, the meeting was held with students, who scored high at auditoria named after academician Yusif Mammadaliyev and academician Zahid Khalilov.
Vice-rector on Humanitarian and Social Issues of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Fikrat Rzayev commenced the conference and notified that this kind of trainings will contribute to the advancement of media-university relations.
Vice-rector on Teaching Eldar Aslanov highlighted novelties carried out at ASPU and noted that 556 students, who entered to our university, scored more than 500. It is a result of raising prestige of teaching and reforms conducted in the field of education.
Sector chief of Education Ministry Jasarat Valehov stressed that the training-conference on “Media and education dialogue” has been held for sixth time. He notified that the event aims to strengthen media-education relations, to adapt web-pages of universities to modern standards.
Afterwards, the following people delivered presentations: alumni of Glasgow University and the lecturer of Department of Social sciences of Western Caspian University Samira Hasanzade – “Providing accessibility of University web-site for users”, marketing manager of Ministry of Education on social media Isfandiyar Amrahov – “Usage of digital tools by higher education institutions and their results”, webmaster of Ministry of Education Mehman Shafagatov– “Effective use of new functions in web-pages and security”.
Editor-in-Chief of “525-ci qazet” Rashad Majid, chief editor of “Yeni Musavat” newspaper Rauf Arifoglu, head of web-site “Ayna.az” Elchin Shikhli, general manager of “Olaylar” Information Agency Yunus Oghuz , education expert Etibar Aliyev, head of Baku City Education Department Basharat Mammadov shared their thoughts in the event about intensifying education-media contacts.
The journal “Azerbaycan mektebi” (“Azerbaijani school”) was presented to conference attendees, which is printed in a novel content, form and design.
