On February 5, the discussion held at Sumgayit State University on cooperation agreement to be signed between SSU and Training Center of Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan Republic.

Greeting the guests, rector of University Professor Elkhan Huseynov expressed his satisfaction on seeing them at the University and gave information about activity of SSU, its education, teaching process and gained achievements. He notified: “Specialist preparation is conducted on doctor of sciences program and Dissertation Board established for the first time in SSU history in last 3 years. Our University has signed bilateral and multilateral agreements with foreign universities and enhanced its relations. Cooperation is conducted within Russian-Azerbaijani Universities Association in direction of international conferences, seminars, Olympiads, forums, publications, anniversaries and participation at international projects. Our students also took part at conferences and Olympiads held in prestigious universities. Application of theoretical knowledge gained during the study is the main target of the university. At present, the students of SSU are interning at different enterprises, as well as at international companies functioning in Azerbaijan and abroad”. He highlighted establishment of university-enterprise connection and expressed his assurance that the cooperation would be successful.

Chairman of Ministry of Taxes Training Center of Azerbaijan Republic Farhad Amirbayov thanked to Professor Elkhan Huseynov for sincere and amicable attitude, informed about novelty implemented at the Center and called attention to significance of skillful specialists at the institution. He suggested establishing and developing mutual cooperation between Ministry of Taxes Training Center and Sumgayit State University in the field of education and scientific research, organizing internship of students, holding free trainings and courses on the organization of works of information-communication technologies, creating favorable circumstances to professor-teacher staff in order to conduct scientific-research works, arranging joint events, excursions, trainings, seminars, round tables, conferences and forums, preparing textbooks and monographs for new specialties.

Deputy head of Center for Scientific-research works Mirali Kazimov, vice-rector on Teaching Organization and Training Technologies docent Natig Talibov, vice-rector on Science and Innovations Professor Ramazan Mammadov, dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management docent Aynura Yahyayeva, chairman of the Department of Finance and Accounting docent Loghman Abdullayev exchanged ideas in the meeting on cooperation agreement, which will be signed between SSU and Training Center of Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan Republic and wished success to both parties.
