On February 19, rector of University Professor Elkhan Huseynov met students after exam session of autumn semester in order along with their education, to be aware of current state of their social and living conditions. Giving information about executed works at the University, rector notified that several projects are implemented for integrating into world education system, especially to European education arena, as well as improving education process by using advanced world experience. He noted: “Examinations are conducted transparently and objectively and this aims to evaluate your knowledge objectively”. Prof. Elkhan Huseynov spoke about conducted reforms in direction of improving education quality. He highlighted that recent Decree of President Ilham Aliyev about increasing scholarship of students will improve their social welfare and increase academic indicators.

Professor Elkhan Huseynov emphasized that rebuilding material-technical base of University in accordance with modern standards contributes to improvement of education quality. “All laboratories are renewed and equipped with modern equipment and new practice bases created. Newly established laboratories will play significant role in improvement of students’ knowledge and ability, development of innovative projects and realization of their ideas. He recommended students to improve their language skills in the Linguistic Center, functioning at our University. Several alumni of SSU began to work as a laboratory worker, specialist and lecturer in 2018/2019 academic year.

Rector heard the students’ questions and talked with them sincerely. The students expressed their gratitude to the rector for created conditions.
