“SDU-PEYK” TEAM QUALIFIED TO NEXT STAGE
“SDU-Peyk” student team of Sumgayit State University qualified to next stage in “CanSat Azerbaijan 2019” competition, jointly organized by “Azerkosmos” OSC and Ministry of Education.
“CanSat Azerbaijan” contest is organized for increasing interest to the sphere of space among students of higher education institutions and educating qualified cadres by forming fundamental knowledge and skills in this field. The tasks put for youth stimulate application and development of theoretical and practical knowledge on directions of electronics, mechanics and programming. According to terms of the contest, small satellite models are prepared by the teams. The models were thrown from determined height.
“SDU-Peyk” team consisted of 5 students in the project: students of Engineering faculty: Tayfun Hajili (capitan), Ulvi Aghayev, Vusal Turabov, Nijat Huseynov, Saltanat Aydinli. Scientific guide of the team was senior lecturer of the Department of Information and computer technics Guliyev Rahib Yashar oglu.
