On March 19, EQAC staff of Sumgayit State University organized information day on “Quality assurance in teaching and learning process” at Sumgayit Technical College. Administrative staff and lecturers of the College took part in the event.

Deputy Director of College for Teaching Asad Gurbanov hailed the guests and commenced the event. Then, chairwoman of International Cooperation Office PhD in history Samira Mammadova delivered presentation about ERASMUS+EQAC project and Middlesex University of United Kingdom. By sharing her experience gained in trainings, she emphasized significance of ERASMUS+KA2 projects and recommended College staff to improve their language skills and participate in the interchange within international projects. Associate of the Office Nihad Huseynov shared his experience gained in Royal Institute of Technology of Sweden and Social Applied Sciences University of Lithuania and delivered presentation on “Learning outcomes” and “QPR process program”, associate of Evaluation and quality assurance department Sadagat Fatullayeva on “Bloom taxonomy” and “Learning pyramid”.

The aim of organizing the event was to inform the College staff about EQAC project and the activity of Quality Assurance Centre, which will be instituted, to share the experience gained in Stockholm, Vilnius and London visits held within the project, and also to discuss further steps – surveys, monitoring and relevant measures.

At the end the questions were responded and discussion was held.
