SSU TEAM JOINED TO INTERNATIONAL “ENACTUS” COMPETITION
On April 5, the event on “ENACTUS” program was held via the line of Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations’ Union.
Vice-rector on Humanitarian Issues docent Ramiz Huseynov opened the event and hailed the guest and attendees. Emphasizing the significance of “ENACTUS” program, he notified: “Various types of projects are carried out in our country. One of them is realization of international competitions on “ENACTUS” program. The purpose is to stimulate youth to entrepreneurship activity, to attract them to innovative projects, to augment their interest in this direction, to promote free entrepreneurship idea among students, to advance their organizational and managerial ability. I wish success to “ENACTUS” team of SSU”.
Chairwoman of Student Scientific Society docent Lala Bunyatova speaking about achievements of University gained on “ENACTUS” program, pointed out that she has been the member of SSU “ENACTUS” program since 2014. Our teams successfully participated at the projects entitled “Panda school-preschool preparation center”, “The best entrepreneurship project”, “Healthy sheep and happy people” in this period.
Program manager of ENACTUS project Aziz Falakzade gave wide information to students about the essence of ENACTUS project. He noted that ENACTUS is an international program that brings students, academic and business leaders together for achieving development in the world via the power of entrepreneurial action. The basic object of the program is to engage the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders to use innovation and business principles to improve the world. The program is also a platform established to conduct business talks.
Afterwards, program manager held a discussion with students about new ideas, projects and future plans. “Production of ecologically clean fertilizer” and “Pinecone” projects presented by students, qualified to final stage to be held Baku Congress Center on May 24-25.
