On May 6, the exhibition of handicrafts arranged at Sumgayit State University, dedicated to 96th anniversary of National leader Heydar Aliyev by organization of Chemistry and biology faculty.

Launching the exhibition, dean of Chemistry and biology faculty docent Mahal Muradov spoke about services of great leader in the history of Azerbaijani people. He said: “Heydar Aliyev devoted his life and statehood experience to the future and the growth of Azerbaijan. He formulated the political and economic bases of independent Azerbaijani statehood, realized the dream of the nation of being sovereign and powerful. His political course is successfully carried on by President Ilham Aliyev”.

Afterwards, the exhibition of handicrafts of students and lecturers was beheld.

Deputy dean of Chemistry and biology faculty docent Mushkunaz Nazarova displayed her handicraft made of seashells and paintings, docent of Department of Chemistry and its teaching methods Gulzar Guliyeva – decorative handicraft, senior lecturer Sadagul Javadova – the toy, made of cloth, preparator Simnara Hasanova – souvenirs, preporator of Department of Biology and its teaching methods Zinyat Huseynova – the art work “Flora”, laboratory head of Ecology department Lachin Asadova - tactile handicrafts, researchers Ruhangiz Amirova – figurative soaps and Sakina Guliyeva – paintings, the students Guluza Khudayarova – Heydar Aliyev portrait, made of beads, Afag Najafova – artistic works, Solmaz Mahammadzade – abstract painting, Gultakin Ahmadova – artificial flowers, Mansuma Guliyeva - handicraft made of seashells, Aykhan Eyyublu – handicrafts made of coffee granules, Jala Abdulazizova – artistic work, Rasmiyya Safarova – handicraft made of cardboard, Laman Narimanova, Gunel Gardashova – handicrafts made of wastes, Sadiyeva Nazrin – woven bag, Shahana Ahmadova, Asli Nazarova, Konul Huseynova – paintings, Lamia Ibrahimova – tactile works.
