INTELLECTUAL KNOWLEDGE COMPETITION DEDICATED TO 96TH ANNIVERSARY OF NATIONAL LEADER
On May 8, intellectual knowledge competition “What, when, where?” arranged at Sumgayit State University, dedicated to 96th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev by organization of Student Trade Union Committee and Student Youth Organization.
At first memory of great leader Heydar Aliyev commemorated with one minute silence.
Chief of Student Trade Union Committee Nemat Ibayev delivered speech and noted: “Heydar Aliyev created circumstances for upbringing intelligent youth with outlook. His successor president Ilham Aliyev always cared science and education. As a result, science and education are rapidly advancing in our republic. Education system of our country is most developed system in CIS. The conditions created by our government will increase the number of talented youth and they will contribute to recognition of our country in the world”.
Emphasizing the significance of knowledge competition, Nemat Ibayev spoke about the role of this kind of contests in improvement of students’ knowledge and adapting them in competitive environment. He wished success to the teams.
7 teams took part in the competition. In the end the members of winning team awarded diplomas and cups.
