FINAL STAGE OF DEBATE-ORATORY TOURNAMENT, DEDICATED TO 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF SUMGAYIT CITY
Final stage of debate-oratory tournament was held at Sumgayit State University on “Holding international contests has positive impact on the advancement of host country” co-organized by Student Youth Organization and Debate Club, dedicated to 70th anniversary of Sumgayit.
Chief of SYO, senior referee Nijat Huseynov hailed the guests and emphasized that this kind of events contribute to the advancement of modern Azerbaijani youth.
Head of Debate Club Emil Mammadov delivered report about the tournament. He noted: “23 teams took part in Debate Forum. The judges of Debate Civil Society conducted the competition, along with judges of the university”.
Afterwards “Istiglal” and “Yeah Team” teams qualified to final stage. “Istiglal” team was the winner and gained the cup.
Anar Gurbanov, Jeuhun Askerov and Gunay Orujaliyeva gained “The best orator” title. Certificates presented to all teams’ members.
Chief of SYO Nijat Huseynov and head of Debate Club Emil Mammadov congratulated the winners and wished them success.
