OUR EMPLOYEES PRESENTED THEIR PROJECT AT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “ECONOMIC REFORMS: ADVANCEMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND DIVERSIFICATION”
Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan Republic and Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) arranged international conference on “Economic reforms: advancement of entrepreneurship and diversification”.
Executive director of Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication Vusal Gasimli commenced the conference by welcome statement and notified that President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev issued several normative acts in direction of diversification of economics, development of social sphere, improvement of small and medium entrepreneurship. The reforms, conducted in the field of entrepreneurship are highly appreciated in “Doing Business” report of World Bank.
Chairman of Eurasia Division of Global Relations Secretariat of Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development William Thompson, head of State Customs Committee Safar Mehdiyev, deputy Minister of Economics Sahib Mammadov, deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Ilhama Gadimova, senior corporative sales manager of Kapital Bank Farid Hidayatzade delivered speech on the topic. Afterwards the collaborators of Industrial Ecology scientific-research laboratory of Sumgayit State University Ruhangiz Amirova and Ilhama Huseynova presented their project “Natural fertilizer – natural food – healthy life!”. They spoke about negative impacts of global pollution. This project is about obtaining natural fertilizer from excreta of live organisms (worm). Presently research works of the project is carried on by collaborators of Industrial Ecology scientific-research laboratory.
