On May 15, XIX Republican scientific conference of master students launched at Sumgayit State University dedicated to 96th anniversary of National leader Heydar Aliyev.

Vice-rectors, structure chiefs and professor-teacher staff of leading higher education institutions of our republic took part in the conference.

At first, attendants laid flowers at the bust of Great leader in the University and commemorated him with honor.

Rector of University Professor Elkhan Huseynov hailed the guests and emphasized significance of the conference. He spoke about importance of the works done in the direction of development of education and science in Azerbaijan under the administration of National leader Heydar Aliyev. Rector said: “Education has always been a strategic field during his first and second administration and Heydar Aliyev evaluated its role in the improvement of people and the country. Growth of our education, its integration to European standards is related with his name. Generally, development of education is an essential part of development conception of every country. Azerbaijan is among these countries. The reforms conducted in this field show that Azerbaijan is eager to be among developed countries. The attention and care of President Ilham Aliyev to the progress of education confirms that this factor has been included in substantial principles of state policy and is not only limited with the capital, but also covers regions. This strategy contributes to education system in the country, increases scientific-intellectual potential and positively impacts the formation of creative thinking in the society. Attracting students to scientific-research work is one of the main affairs of higher educational institutions. Progress in the number of participants taking part in Republican scientific conference of Master students shows significance of the conference. About 1500 papers from 29 educational institutions were accepted to the conference, 1441 of them were included in the agenda of the conference and conference materials were published as a bulk. This attendance is an indicator of increased interest of the master students to scientific conferences and at the same time productive activity of Organizing Committee of the conference”.

Afterwards deputy director of Teaching Center under Ministry of Finance Ilham Zeynalov delivered speech. He notified that recently cooperation agreement was signed between Sumgayit State University and Teaching Center under Ministry of Finance.

Vice-rector of Baku Engineering University Elchin Suleymanov and chairwoman of Master and Doctoral Studies Department of Baku State University Afat Mammadova spoke about organization of the conference at a high level, attraction of the youth to scientific-research work and contributions of Great leader Heydar Aliyev to the growth of our education system and conducted educational reforms.

The following persons’ reports were heard: master student of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry Nazrin Asgarova – “The role of Smart Grid technology in increasing efficiency of use of alternative energy resources”, master student of Azerbaijan State University of Economics Narmin Gasimova – “Analysis of application of graphics in design fields as a composition element”, master student of Sumgayit State University Tahana Shahmarova – “Some aspects of design of multi-agent systems”,

master student of Baku Slavic University Umukhanim Museyibova – “Vocabulary of Azerbaijani language in XXI century”, master student of Odlar Yurdu University Narmin Nasibova – “Computerized research complex of management of light and color parameters”.

Head of the Doctorate and Master programs Office Sabir Khalilov informed about conclusions of the conference and noted that it will continue on 18 sections. He noted that Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry presented 283 theses, Sumgayit State University – 281, Azerbaijan State University of Economics – 257, Baku Slavic University – 202, Ganja State University – 69, Mingachevir State University – 52, Nakhchivan State University – 50, Baku Business University – 49, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University – 41, Odlar Yurdu University – 40 theses to the conference.

Master students who delivered speech in section meetings will be presented certificates of Sumgayit State University.
