THE WINNERS OF SUBJECT OLYMPIAD ON HISTORY AWARDED
On June 13, award ceremony was held of subject Olympiad on history among VI-XI grade schoolchildren of Sumgayit city, dedicated to 70th anniversary of Sumgayit city.
Vice-rector on Humanitarian Issues docent Ramiz Huseynov congratulated the pupils, who were winners in the Olympiad and notified that material-teaching base of education institutions have been strengthened, education level has been increased by attention and care of our government. The subject Olympiads aim to enhance university-school cooperation and support the students to display their knowledge and abilities in healthy competition environment.
In the end of the event diplomas and presents were given to Olympiad winners.
It is worth to note that 547 schoolchildren from 42 secondary schools and 4 lyceums of Sumgayit city took part in the Olympiad on history. The presented questions compiled by the associates of Department of Azerbaijani and Eastern European nations’ history in 2 variants.
