MINISTER OF EDUCATION MET WITH THE CO-CHAIRS OF THE ASSOCIATION OF RUSSIAN-AZERBAIJANI UNIVERSITIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE ORGANIZATION OF THE STUDENT SUMMER SCHOOL
On July 17, Education Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the co-chairs of the Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities in connection with the organization of the Summer School "Travel to the Land of Fire Azerbaijan".
During the meeting, the participants stressed that there are political and historical ties at the highest level between the two countries. The meeting participants reported that the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation cooperate in many areas of education. Also discussed ongoing joint bilateral projects and the results of the work of the Association over the past period and issues that need to be carried out in the future are planned. Of particular note is the fact that an agreement was adopted on holding the III Forum of the Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities in Baku.
Co-chairs of the Association of Russian-Azerbaijani Universities, rector of SSU, Professor Elkhan Huseynov from the Azerbaijani side and Rector of USOTU Academician Ramil Bakhtizin from the Russian side thanked Education Minister Jeyhun Bayramov for his help and support in organizing and conducting the Summer School.
It should be noted that the Student Summer School, held on July 14-21, was organized by Sumgayit State University. About 70 students from universities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the Summer School.
