Since 2015, SSU has been actively cooperating with Turkish universities in the framework of international programs. One such program is the Mevlana exchange program. For several years, many teachers of our university were invited to Turkish universities and successfully completed the requirements of the program. In the new 2019/2020 academic year, four faculty members of SSU received the right to participate in a two-week exchange program at Adnan Menderes University: Neyman Khasayev, assistant professor of the Department of History and its teaching methods at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Lala Veliyeva, assistant professor of Economics department of Economics and Management faculty, and assistant of Department of Finance and accounting Dilara Amiraslanova, and teacher of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Faculty of Philology Sudaba Mammadova. Costs are paid by the Republic of Turkey within the program.

At the same time, an associate professor of Turkish language and literature, Gul Banu Duman, was invited from the University of Bulent Ecevit to the SSU for two weeks to give lectures. Also, a second-year undergraduate of the same university, Yasim Kayabash, who currently works at our university and is engaged in researching materials for the master's thesis “Comparative analysis of the image of Kechal,” was invited to the faculty of Azerbaijani and foreign countries’ literature of SSU. According to the requirements of the program, academic advisers were appointed for him from both sides. Associate professor Nail Gurbanov was appointed as the supervisor of the SSU.

Another successful choice is the invitation of Rovshan Mammadov, senior lecturer of Department of Azerbaijani and foreign countries’ literature, to Bulent Ecevit University for one academic year. We also note that Turkey will bear the financial expenses of all these employees.

It should be noted that SSU cooperates not only with the Mevlana program, but also with ERASMUS + and other international projects in the framework of international conferences. Among them are the universities of Gazi, Sakarya, Adnan Menderes and Bulent Ecevit.
