TOURNAMENT ON MINI-FOOTBALL AMONG STUDENTS DEDICATED TO THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF SUMGAYIT
Sumgayit State University has launched the first-year students' spartakiad on 5 types of inter-faculty sports (mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, checkers and chess) in accordance with the approved Action Plan on the 70th anniversary of Sumgayit city.
The goal is to achieve the comprehensive development of young people, improve their health, organize their leisure time efficiently, as well as reveal their physical potential. On October 11, Sumgayit State University hosted a mini-football competition among students dedicated to the city's 70th anniversary.
According to the preliminary results of the competition, the team of the Faculty of Economics and Management won the Faculty of Philology with a score of 2: 0, and the team of the Faculty of History and Geography won the Faculty of Physics and Electroenergetics with a score of 3: 0.
