OUR HISTORIAN READ A LECTURE ON AZERBAIJANI HISTORY AT AYDIN ADNAN MENDERES UNIVERSITY OF TURKEY
Sumgayit State University enhances its international relations by cooperating with universities of Turkey since 2015 within international programs. One of those programs is Mevlana Exchange Program. For several years, many teachers of our university were invited to Turkish universities and successfully completed the requirements of the program.
For 2019/2020 academic year, 4 faculty members of SSU were chosen by Higher Education Council of Turkey to participate at two-week exchange program at Aydin Adnan Menderes University: docent of Department of History and its teaching methods of History and Geography faculty Neyman Khasayev, docent of Economics department of Faculty of Economics and Management Lala Valiyeva, assistant of Department of Finance and accounting Dilara Amiraslanova and lecturer of the Department of Psychology and pedagogy of Faculty of Philology Sudaba Mammadova.
From October 10 to 24, docent Neyman Khasayev visited Aydin Adnan Menderes University of Turkey within Mevlana Exchange Program and participated in the lessons of Subject Literature Faculty in specialty of history. According to the plan verified by HEC of Turkey, he read lecturers on “The Great Hun Empire”, “The West Hun Empire”, “The State of White Hun”, “Goyturks and Goyturk Empires”, “Culture of Turkish nations in the ancient and early middle ages”, “Genghis khan Empire”, “State of Altun Ordu”, “State of Hulagu”. The scholar responded the questions about Azerbaijani history and was highly appreciated by university administration.
Docent Neyman Khasayev expressed his gratitude to the rector of SSU Professor Elkhan Huseynov for his participation at Mevlana Exchange Program.
