SSU REPRESENTATIVES TOOK PART IN THE TRAINING WITHIN ERASMUS+EQAC PROJECT
On October 31, the training was held by group at Baku Business University within Erasmus+EQAC project (Establishing and Developing Quality Assurance Centers in higher education institutions of Azerbaijan), financed by European Commission. The group included Sumgayit State University, Mingachevir State University and Tourism and Management University.
The training aimed at applying 10 standards on quality assurance in European Higher Education Area on QPR system, as well as organizing the managers’ meeting. The training was conducted by Mrs. Laura Senkeviciute Dovilte (Lithuania) and Mr. Donates Bertasius (Lithuania).
10 standards applied on European higher education area on quality assurance, are the part of Bologna process. Azerbaijan Republic has joined to Bologna process in 2005.
The standards are:
1. Quality assurance system
2. Program compiling
3. Student-centered education, teaching and evaluation
4. Student admission
5. Support for teaching staff
6. Education resources and support for students
7. Information management
8. Information for community
9. Regular monitoring of programs
10. Periodical foreign quality assurance
Chief of International Cooperation Department of Sumgayit State University PhD in history Samira Mammadova and senior lab.assistant of Department of World Economy and marketing Nihad Huseynov took part in the event.
