QUALIFYING ROUND OF THE III UNIVERSIADE ON THE STRATEGIC INTELLECTUAL GAME "POLYGON"
On November 16, the qualifying round of the III Universiade on the strategic intellectual game “Polygon” took place at Sumgayit State University.
The Universiade was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan and the Public Organization for Contribution to the Development of Youth in the Region with the financial support of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The project coordinator Amrah Hashimov spoke about the state youth policy pursued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the activities of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan. After that, he informed the participants about the purpose of the competition held in our country.
He noted that the strategic intellectual game “Polygon” is the only intellectual game that not only supports the intellectual development of youth, but also contributes to military-patriotic education and the formation of skills to build a strategy. At the end of his speech, A. Hashimov wished the teams success.
The competition was attended by 26 teams from the university.
After the qualifying rounds in the Universiade finals, the teams that won the first three places will be awarded.
