WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE ERASMUS + EQAC PROJECT, TRAININGS AND A SURVEY WERE ORGANIZED FOR TEACHERS AT SSU
The training are ongoing at SSU within the framework of ERASMUS + EQAC (Establishing and Developing Quality Assurance Centers at Azerbaijani Universities), funded by the European Commission.
It should be noted that the process of bringing curricula and syllabuses in line with the European educational space has long begun at SSU. In this regard, pilot specialties, a pilot teaching group, and a student focus group were selected. Trainings were held with the pilot teaching team. Since the selected pilot specialties relate to computer engineering, trainings were held for the pilot teaching staff of the faculty. In the trainings held on December 5, in addition to the teaching focus group, the vice-rector for the Teaching Organization and Training Technologies associate professor Natig Talibov, head of Department of International Cooperation Samira Mammadova, chief of Quality Assurance Center under the project Nihad Huseynov and employees of the Department of International Cooperation participated. After the training, the Baku University of Business, which is the coordinator of the project, distributed questionnaires to the teachers participating in the trainings. Teachers answered the questionnaire. It should be noted that the survey was conducted anonymously.
According to the project plan, 7 trainings will be held for pilot teachers in pilot specialties. 4 more trainings are planned.
