THE OFFICIAL PART OF THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL DISCUSSED THE ISSUES ON THE AGENDA
On December 18, just before the next meeting of the Scientific Council at Sumgayit State University, rector Professor Elkhan Huseynov presented the Diploma of Honorary Doctor of SSU to Professor of Hacettepe University Shukru Haluk Akalin.
After the solemn ceremony the agenda of the Scientific Council was discussed.
The following persons delivered report in the meeting: about preparation for the fall exam session for the 2019/2020 academic year on Bachelor’s level director of the Teaching Methodical Center Faig Shirinov, about Master’s level head of the Doctorate and Master"s program Office associate professor Sabir Khalilov, about report of implemented research works at SSU in 2019 - head of the Scientific Section associate professor Samir Orujov, about the state of student-youth involvement in sports-vice-rector for Humanitarian Affairs docent Ramiz Huseynov and fulfillment of the decisions of Scientific Council-Scientific Secretary Prof. Mukhtar Samadov.
Professor Nigar Isgandarova, head of Foreign Languages Department gave detailed information about her participation at the International Congress on “Language Policy of CIS countries” in Minsk, Belarus, dean of the Faculty of Physics and Electroenergetics docent Tamella Ahmadova about participation in the scientific-practical conference held at KSEU in the framework of academic exchange.
Then, the head of the Department of Pedagogy and psychology, associate professor Aytakin Mammadova made a presentation on inclusion of the subject "Inclusive Education" in the curriculum of some teachers" specialties, and docent Aynura Yahyayeva delivered speech about approval of the State Examination Program for Economics and Management faculty.
Scientific secretary Prof. Mukhtar Samadov informed about granting of copyright (griffin) to teaching aids. He noted that the Scientific Council received 44 teaching aids, 3 textbooks, 2 methodical aids and 39 subject programs. After the discussions, permission was given to publish them.
