EUROPEAN SPECIALISTS HELD A SEMINAR AT OUR UNIVERSITY
On December 18, the seminar was held at Sumgayit State University within Twinning project financed by European Commission and coordinated by Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic.
The seminar, which was held at Training and Learning Center instituted within ERASMUS+PETRA project, was conducted by French specialists Jan Jak and Liza Bidanova. The seminar topic was preparation of Strategic Development Plan of University. The seminar was attended by dean of the Faculty of Mathematics docent Zafar Huseynov, chairwoman of department of Foreign Languages professor Nigar Isgandarova, head of International Cooperation Office PhD in history Samira Mammadova, head of Career Center docent Amirkhan Isayev, employees of International Cooperation Office Nigar Mammadova and Gulnar Huseynova.
The seminar was conducted on the samples of 5 European universities: Belfast University (France), Middle East Technical University (Turkey), Groningen University (the Netherlands), Russian State Humanitarian University and Bologna University (Italy). The focus was on Bologna University. The moderators highlighted the significance of writing Strategic Development Plan of University and explained writing rules and mechanisms of the document.
