THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE “INTERDISCIPLINARY INTEGRATION: LINGUODIDACTIC, LINGUOCULTURAL AND PSYCHOLINGUISTIC ASPECTS” KICKED OFF AT SSU
On December 19, Sumgayit State University hosted the International scientific conference "Interdisciplinary integration: linguodidactic, linguocultural and psycholinguistic aspects".
Along with Azerbaijani universities, the conference was attended by scientists from leading universities of Russia, Turkey and other countries.
The conference was opened by vice-rector for Science and Innovations Professor Ramazan Mammadov. He welcomed the conference participants and expressed satisfaction at meeting with them at the university. Vice-rector told the guests about the history of the university, its areas of activity, ongoing international projects and programs. Vice-rector noted that in the current globalized world, the development of science is not easy. Currently, sciences intersect at a certain point, and, forming new industries, contribute to overall development. It was noted that Azerbaijani linguistics is rooted in the Middle Ages and, having passed a long development path, was formed at the level of scientific requirements of the 20th century, improved and took its rightful place among the humanities. Azerbaijani scientific linguistics has come a long way in the 60-80s of the last century and has achieved significant success. During the first period of the country"s leadership by national leader Heydar Aliyev, targeted research was carried out in various areas of the Azerbaijani language, and as a result of this work, a number of monographs, textbooks and other literature were published. Azerbaijani linguistics has gone a long, glorious path of development and reached a modern level.
Noting the importance of this conference, the vice-rector said that interdisciplinary integration has opened the way for the integration of Azerbaijani linguistics into world and European science, increasing the authority of Azerbaijani linguistic scholars at the international level, studying ancient languages and cultures, as well as studying the languages of small peoples living in our territory. The study of the Azerbaijani and world linguistic heritage, and in general, the level of modern scientific linguistics, is of great importance in modern conditions. It is very important to introduce the Azerbaijani language concept and its values to the world, and the theoretical principles of world linguistics to Azerbaijan. The conference, which is being held today, is devoted to the study of the problems of linguistics in connection with didactic, culturological, sociological, psychological and other areas of science.
The vice-rector wished success to the work of the conference and expressed confidence that domestic and foreign researchers will make their worthy contribution to the development of linguistics as a science.
Speakers delivered report at the conference: Akalin Shukru Haluk, professor of University of Hacettepe - “Innovations in Turkic Lexicography and Electronic Dictionaries”, professor of SSU Mammadov Ramazan - “Contrastive-typological study of languages, linguistic interference, linguodidactics”, professor of Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yarkinbekova Sholpan Kuzarovna - “Application of the aspects of philological preparation in the context of educational space reforms”, associate professor of the Kuban State University of the Russian Federation Chepeleva Lada Metallovna, Ryabchenko N.A., Malisheva O.P. - with the report “New hybrid units in the online space as social and behavioral markers”, associate professor of SSU Eminli Boyukkhanim - “Linguoculturology as an area of research of national culture in the language”.
It should be noted that 218 reports of foreign and domestic scientists in five sections were published in the form of a collection and presented to the participants.
The conference continued its work in sections.
