As a continuation of the International scientific conference “Interdisciplinary integration: linguodidactic, linguocultural and psycholinguistic aspects”, scientists from Russia, Turkey and other countries who took part in it conducted various seminars, round tables and master classes at the Faculty of Philology.

On December 20, Necati Demir, professor of the Gazi University of Turkey delivered speech on the topic: "Oghuz people and Turkish history". Necati Demir noted that he has been working for 30 years on the subject of "Oghuznama", has personally visited libraries in Germany, France, England, Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Austria, Mongolia, India, and has published 10 volumes of book "Oghuzname". He noted that different parts of the “Dede Gorgud” epos have been revealed in various copies of the book, and the epos was ahead of Orkhon writings. Professor Necati Demir said that the part of “Dede Gorgud”, which was translated from Persian, is an indispensable source of information about the history of the Oghuz Turks mainly in the 10th century. He said that knowledge about “Dede Gorgud” is important from the point of view of Turkish history.

In the event the history of Oghuz and Turk people, and the work on the study of this valuable source were discussed.
