SSU EMPLOYEES TOOK PART IN THE SEMINAR WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE TWINNING PROJECT
From February 18 to 20, in the framework of the Twinning project "Support to the Improvement of Higher Education System in Azerbaijan", by the organizational support of the Ministry of Education, a seminar "Innovative Teaching, Training and Assessment" was held at the Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU). The main goal of the seminar was to raise the awareness of participants about assessment based on international experience, innovative teaching and learning.
Experts from Lithuania and Latvia noted that increasing the institutional capacity of higher education in Azerbaijan is becoming an important task, using the principles and mechanisms of the European higher education space.
Along with other universities, a group of SSU employees also took part in the seminar: Department of Evaluation and Quality Control assoc. prof. Khalil Aliyev, head of the Department of Electromechanics assoc. prof. Turgay Huseynov, senior lecturer of the Department of History and its teaching methods Sarvan Badalov, senior lecturer of the Department of the Azerbaijani language and its teaching methods Aynura Baghirova, senior lecturer of the Department of Information and Computer technics Farida Aghayeva, assistant of the Department of Petrochemistry and Chemical Engineering Elnur Ahmadov.
After the seminar, certificates were presented to all participants by the experts.
