AN EVENT DEDICATED TO THE KHOJALY GENOCIDE WAS HELD AT THE FACULTY OF PHILOLOGY
On February 25, an event dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held at the Faculty of Philology.
The event began with a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the genocide.
Opening the event, the head of the Department of Pedagogy and psychology, associate professor Aytekin Mammadova spoke about the genocide that our compatriots faced in different periods of history and the horrors of the Khojaly tragedy. She noted that our people will never forget this massacre and said that the day is not far off when, thanks to the wise policies of the country's leadership, we will achieve a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem and the liberation of our occupied lands.
Further, the speakers spoke about the events of that terrible night that people experienced in Khojaly, and noted that the organizers and performers of this terrible act would receive appropriate punishment.
At the end of the event, a video was shown about the Khojaly tragedy.
