SSU REPRESENTATIVE VISITED FRANCE
The visit to France within the framework of the EU-funded twinning project "Strengthening the higher education system in Azerbaijan" has ended. During the visit, a 9-member delegation consisting of employees of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, vice-rectors of a number of higher education institutions of our country and a representative of the twinning project visited the French Ministry of Education and relevant universities.
The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the best practices and approaches applied in French universities, as well as the policies pursued by the state and universities in connection with these approaches.
Representatives of Baku State University, Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry, Azerbaijan Technical University, Baku Engineering University and the Department of Science, Higher and Secondary Education of the Ministry of Education, as well as the newly established Agency for Quality in Education held meetings in the French International Education Organization, Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the Higher Education and Research Assessment Council (HCERES).
It is noteworthy that Sumgayit State University was represented in the visit by the vice-rector for Teaching Organization and Training Technologies docent Natig Talibov.
