Taking into account the suspension of classes due to the necessary measures related to the coronavirus, the teaching process at Sumgayit State University has been organized online and offline (remotely) in accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the Ministry of Education. The first steps in this direction have been taken at our university since mid-March. Shortly after the suspension of classes, online classes with students of both levels of education were launched on the basis of special schedules via WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, Moodle, Zoom platforms, and this work is still ongoing. In addition, all teaching materials for students, including e-lecture texts, colloquiums, and exam questions have been posted in Moodle and Microsoft Teams programs. The organization of classes in this way until the end of the special quarantine period is welcomed by students. Students participate in classes with great enthusiasm. In addition to teaching, the university also works online to organize students' leisure time, holds various meetings, intellectual contests and competitions.

The Student Scientific Society successfully fulfills the tasks of organizing and coordinating the research work of SSU. The Student Scientific Society is a real school of search and creativity for tomorrow's young researchers. At the same time, this society plays an important role in identifying talented and capable students. It is gratifying that our students are awarded certificates for active participation in scientific conferences, seminars, subject Olympiads, competitions organized at the university, national and international levels through research and creative work.

It should be noted that the Student Scientific Society (SSC) of the university has organized many online trainings. Along with the students of SSU, students of other universities also showed great interest in the trainings. Every week, the Student Scientific Society conducts online trainings on research methods, foreign language learning, career with the participation of experts in various fields. At the same time, ENACTUS team of SSS regularly organizes online meetings and researches new ideas. During this time, our team participated in online meetings with captains organized by Enactus Azerbaijan and negotiated with partners to attract new partners to projects. Our team participated in the ENACTUS Winter School 2020. It should be noted that 4 team members and 2 faculty advisors represented our university at the Winter School. Along with all this, information about the team's activities is disseminated on social networks (Instagram, Facebook, twitter, youtube), and discussions are held in online format. At the initiative of the Ministry of Education, the team members express their gratitude for the conditions created under the project "Stay at home, stay away from education" via video.
