OUR COLLABORATORS TOOK PART IN AN ONLINE WEBINAR ORGANIZED BY THE BRITISH COUNCIL AMONG UNIVERSITIES
The British Council in Azerbaijan is organizing several online webinars for discussions between universities in response to common problems faced by universities in 15 European countries during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The first webinar, which was organized on May 7 was attended by employees of Sumgayit State University: head of the Department of Business Administration and Management of the Faculty of Economics and Management, associate professor Galib Huseynov, head of the Department of International Cooperation and International Students (DICIS), Ph.D. Samira Mammadova, senior lecturer of the Faculty of History and Geography Sarvan Badalov, Teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology Jala Mammadova and Samira Rzayeva, employees of DICIS Nigar Mammadova and Natavan Guliyeva, staff of the Information Technology Center Anar Dunyamaliyev and Ulvi Agayev.
The purpose of the webinar is to provide distance education models, the quality of online learning, student mobility and distance research collaboration. These two-month webinars are held once a week for 90 minutes. 30-50 university employees can take part in each free webinar organized through the Zoom program. It should be noted that the panel consists of a moderator and 3 representatives and short presentations. Representatives of the participating universities are holding discussions to address the challenges posed by the current situation. The theme of the webinar was "Ensuring the active use of developing technologies by universities in all their activities." Our staff sent their questions during the webinar to the message section, and the speakers answered those questions at the end of the webinar.
