January 21, Baku Business University hosted the next online meeting of managers within the European Commission-funded ERASMUS + EQAC project (Establishment and Development of Quality Assurance Centers in Azerbaijani Universities). The purpose of the meeting was to discuss in detail the joint projects to be prepared for the ERASMUS + 2021 challenge. The online meeting was moderated by Vice-Rector for International Relations of Baku Business University, Associate Professor Eshgin Bayramov. The main topics of the meeting were the QMS (Quality Management System) model, discussion of the internal quality assurance system of universities, online training of the Lithuanian visit, which was postponed due to the pandemic, and the promotion and sustainability of the project. Working with group leaders was central to the development of the Standards Manual. The project staff of SSU works in a group with Nakhchivan University, the group leader was Denis Galvin, associate professor of the University of Alicante, Spain. The meeting was attended by project managers of partner universities - Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Azerbaijan University of Technology, Nakhchivan University, Odlar Yurdu University, Ganja State University, Mingachevir State University, Azerbaijan University, Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management. EQAC project manager from Sumgayit State University, Head of International Cooperation and Foreign Students Department, Ph.D. Samira Mammadova attended the meeting.
