THE MEETING, ORGANIZED BY THE STATE EMPLOYMENT AGENCY, ATTENDED BY THE HEAD OF THE SSU CAREER CENTER
On February 11, an online meeting was held with the heads of career centers operating in the Republic under the leadership of Fuad Mehdizade, Chairman of the Vocational Training Department of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The initiative group of the Council of Career Centers was established at the meeting. Associate Professor Amirkhan Isayev, Head of the Career Center from SSU, Aida Bayramova from AUTM, Ramil Jabbarov from UNEC, Ilkin Sharifov from BSU, Fakhraddin Abdullayev from AU, Tarana Aslanova from ADA, Shahin Goyushov from ASUOI, Konul from ASPU Askerova was approved as a member of the initiative group.
On February 19, a representative of the State Employment Agency (SEA) held an online meeting with members of the initiative group. Lala Rasulova, representing the State Employment Agency, spoke about the establishment of the Council, its activities, the management of the Council, the powers and responsibilities of the members of the Council, etc. She spoke about the new council to ensure the joint operation of university career centers by SEA, the implementation of joint projects and an adequate approach to solving the problems on the agenda.
Associate Professor Amirkhan Isayev, Director of the Career Center of Sumgayit State University, said that the establishment of the council will be one of the important steps in the career planning of graduates. He spoke about the importance of this newly created platform to adapt to the requirements of the time and to work together.
