OUR EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATED IN AN ONLINE TRAINING FOR MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES
On February 24, the Ministry of Education and the Media Development Agency jointly organized an educational online training for media representatives writing about education.
Speaking at the opening of the training, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov said that cooperation with the media should be further improved using modern communication tools. The Deputy Minister noted that the possibilities of using social media channels should be explored, as well as their usefulness should be measured and applied.
In his speech, Chairman of the Media Development Agency Ahmad Ismayilov thanked the Ministry of Education for the interesting and useful training for media representatives, noting the need to pay attention to the scope of social media.
The training covered “What is Social Media Marketing?”, “Social Media Marketing Channels and Their Features” and “The Role of Social Media Marketing in PR and Education”. Sayyara Huseynova, Sakina Valiyeva and Zahra Mammadli, graduates of the State Program on Education of Azerbaijani Youth Abroad in 2007-2015, made presentations on the mentioned topics and provided detailed information about social media.
At the end, the questions of the training participants were answered.
It should be noted that the main purpose of the training is to inform journalists and other participants about social media marketing, social media channels and features, to strengthen effective cooperation with the media and to inform the public about the work done through the media and SMM.
The training was attended by two representatives of Sumgayit State University - Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students, Ph.D. Samira Mammadova and employee Natavan Guliyeva.
