SSU STUDENTS ATTENDED THE SEMINAR OF A PROFESSOR OF GAZI UNIVERSITY
On March 15, the next virtual research seminar for students, masters, doctoral students, academic staff, and researchers was organized by the Training and Education Center established at Khazar University as part of the Erasmus + Petra project. The speaker of the seminar was Professor of the Faculty of Education of Gazi University (Turkey) Salih Shahin. He made a useful presentation on "Student Participation in Online Education."
In his presentation Prof. Salih Shahin stressed the need for active participation of students in both face-to-face and online education, and stressed the need for teachers to always use new methods and techniques to ensure this. Prof. Salih Shahin stressed that teachers should make more efforts in planning the teaching process, giving detailed information on the use of various mechanisms for the application of standard 3.1 (student-centered teaching).
The seminar was held in an interactive atmosphere and aroused great interest among the participants.
Natavan Guliyeva, an employee of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students from Sumgayit State University, and Jeyhun Asgarov, a master's student at the Faculty of History and Geography, took an active part in the seminar.
