THE FIRST ONLINE EVENT AT SSU IN THE FRAMEWORK OF FUTURE COOPERATION WITH THE AZERBAIJAN ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL FINANCIAL MANAGERS
On April 9, the first online event organized by the Department of Finance and Accounting of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sumgayit State University in the framework of future cooperation with the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers.
The purpose of the event is to provide students studying economics (especially finance and accounting) with comments on the implementation of existing legal requirements in terms of the formation of practical experience in future employment and the implementation of important tasks.
The event was opened by the head of the Department of Finance and Accounting, Associate Professor Loghman Abdullayev, who greeted the participants. He stressed the importance of holding such events as a continuation of the work done in recent years at the Faculty of Economics and Management to train economists in accordance with the requirements of modern times in relevant specialties.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Associate Professor Aynura Yahyayeva greeted the guests and participants and spoke about the importance of the event. She noted that the participation of economists in the labor market in our country in accordance with modern requirements is due to their professional training. Holding the first meeting with the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers is a step towards development in this area.
The head of the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers Nuriya Novruzova greeted the participants. She thanked the leadership of Sumgayit State University for organizing the event as a direction for future cooperation. Then Nuriya Novruzova made a presentation about the organization.
Rauf Rzayev, Head of the International Examination Center of the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers, spoke on the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Accounting and the submission of financial statements in accordance with International Standards.
Head of the Department of Business Organization and Management, Faculty of Economics and Management, Associate Professor Galib Huseynov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Finance and Accounting, PhD Mehman Ahmadzadeh in their speeches stressed the importance of cooperation with the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers and other professional organizations. They noted the advantages of such cooperation in the future for students to act in accordance with their specialization.
The questions of teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics and Management in accordance with the presentation and the topic were answered by the staff of the Azerbaijan Association of Professional Financial Managers.
