The Almighty God created the earth out of love. He inhabited the mountains, valleys, and green meadows of the man he called "honorable." He created the Mother of the world, the love of the Tree, together with the world itself. They said that the life of a water-carrier, a road-builder and a tree-grower would be as long as they planted and planted. Our khagans, the conquerors of the world, would say, "Whoever cuts down a tree will have my hands cut off." The poles of our golden tents were carved from ancient trees, our saz, tar, ud, and ney were carved from different trees. This is how it was created in the wisdom of Dada Gorgud, "Let not our thick tree be cut down, let our rivers not dry up." For this reason, the sanctity of the tree was equal to the sanctity of water, fire and land for every Turk and Azerbaijani.Trees are the breath of mankind. For this reason, everyone who sees man in harmony with nature, plants trees in two seasons - autumn and spring. The tree planting campaign is a state policy and management priority for our country. This sacred task, founded on the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev, is successfully continued today by President Ilham Aliyev. Under the leadership of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Head of the IDEA Public Union, tens of thousands of trees are planted in our country every year as part of the Tree Planting Campaign. As the people of Azerbaijan, this year we are experiencing another spring. Our holiday bonfire, Victory torch has been reached. The heat of the Novruz bonfire, which reached the foothills of the Shusha fortress on the Cidir plain, spread throughout Karabakh and from there to the Turkic world. Spring was welcomed by our people in Shusha fortress, Karabakh. We planted trees and sowed seeds in every corner of charming Karabakh. In our lands, which the enemy has set on fire and plundered, the trees planted will soon bear fruit, and fire will fall on the enemy"s chest. This year, as every year, we plant trees and sow seeds. We are turning our homeland into a paradise.

On April 24, on the eve of the birthday of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, a tree-planting campaign was held in Sumgayit at the initiative of the Sumgayit City Executive Power. The action was attended by the staff of many departments, enterprises and organizations of the city. The staff of Sumgayit State University took an active part in the tree-planting campaign. As part of the campaign, our employees planted a large number of evergreen trees. At the same time, the bottoms of previously planted seedlings were softened. We thank the organizers of the event for such a noble deed, thank God, thank our President, and bow before our martyrs who made history with their blood.
