On May 8, Sumgayit State University hosted an intellectual knowledge contest "What? Where? When?" dedicated to the 98th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Student Trade Union Committee and the Student Youth Organization.

7 teams took part in the competition. The questions were compiled in connection with the socio-political activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The teams competed to win the championship in 3 rounds. According to the results, the team of the Faculty of History and Geography was the first, the team of the Faculty of Philology was the second, and that of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology was the third.
