SSU STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE IV INTERNATIONAL STUDENT OLYMPIAD
Reform-oriented projects in the Azerbaijani education system have created a fertile ground for the formation of talented young people who will serve to strengthen the country's competitiveness. Successful projects in this direction are being implemented at Sumgayit State University, as a result of which the achievements of our students in international competitions are increasing year by year. On May 24, Ufa State Oil Technical University hosted the IV International Student Olympiad on "Processes and apparatus of chemical technology" named after Professor K.F. Bogatykh in mixed (visual and distance) format.
Welcoming the participants of the Olympiad, the rector of USOTU O.A. Baulin said that in general, 69 students from 20 teams from the Russian Federation (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Irkutsk, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Perm, Yaroslavl, Grozny, Tver, Tomsk, Kazan, Salavat and UFA), Azerbaijan (Sumgayit), from Kazakhstan (Atyrau), Uzbekistan (Fergana), African countries and Cuba take part here. He wished them success and declared the Olympiad open.
Students of group 311 of the Faculty of Chemistry and Biology of Sumgayit State University, majoring in Chemical Engineering Goncha Ahmadova, Narmin Khasiyeva, student of group 312 Solmaz Mahammadzadeh participated in the Olympiad.
