RECTOR OF SSU ONCE AGAIN WATCHED THE COURSE OF THE SPRING SEMESTER EXAM SESSION FOR MASTERS
The exam session of the spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year for masters continues at Sumgayit State University.
On June 9, Rector, Professor Elkhan Huseynov watched the online examination of the M935 group on the subject of Oriental Studies in Medieval and Renaissance Western Literature, majoring in Philology (European Literature) at the Faculty of Philology.
The rector noted that all technical measures were taken at a high level to hold the spring exam session in a transparent and in accordance with existing rules. Referring to the decision of the state to cover the tuition fees of students belonging to families belonging to socially vulnerable groups this year, the rector said that the issue is under control and work is being done in this direction. He also noted that students who are dissatisfied with the results of the exam have the opportunity to apply online to the appeal commission established at the university. The rector answered the questions of a group of masters who took part in the exam and wished them success.
Student Sahiba Ibadli, who scored 45 points during the semester, was evaluated by 46 points in the exam by Samira Mammadova, PhD in Philology, senior teacher of the Department of Literature of Azerbaijan and Foreign Countries and received A-excellent (91) points.
It should be noted that the exam session of the spring semester at SSU began on June 1 and will last until July 5. Exams are administered online through the Microsoft Teams platform or the Zoom program.
