THE NEXT MEETING OF THE "REWARD COMMISSION FOR SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES"
One of the factors that is an indicator of the competitiveness of universities in modern times is the regular publication of scientific articles of the teaching staff of the institution in journals included in international scientific databases.
On June 9, Sumgayit State University hosted the next event of the "Reward Commission for Scientific Articles". Members of the commission at the event: Chairman - Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations prof. Ramazan Mammadov; members - Head of the Scientific Section Assoc. prof. Samir Orujov, Head of the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering Assoc. prof. Gadir Mansurov, Head of the Department of Electromechanics Assoc. prof. Turgay Huseynov, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages Prof. Nigar Isgandarova, Head of the Department of History of the Peoples of Azerbaijan and Eastern Europe prof. Shirkhan Salimov took part.
The participants of the event reviewed 90 articles and theses submitted by the staff of SSU for the examination of the commission and identified the Databases and Impact Factors to which they belong. Following constructive discussions, the authors of 11 articles and theses published in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science, Elsevier's Scopus and NEB's RINC International databases in journals with high scientific reference index and CPCI-based conference materials were unanimously awarded.
It should be noted that in order to ensure further stimulation of research work at SSU, the awarding of scientific articles is carried out in accordance with the order of the Rector of Sumgayit State University dated 29.01.2019 R-10/1.
