THE STUDENT OF SSU WAS AWARDED THE FIRST PLACE IN THE REPUBLICAN CREATIVE FESTIVAL "STUDENT SPRING"
The awarding ceremony of the winners of the XV Republican Student Art Festival "Student Spring" was held on June 23 at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Physical Education and Sports (ASAPES).
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev, Rector of ASAPES Fuad Hajiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan (USYOA) Parviz Miralamli, MPs and others.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Intigam Babayev noted that the XV Republican Student Art Festival "Student Spring" is organized annually jointly with the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan. I.Babayev said that young people show great interest in the "Student Spring" art festival. The main purpose of the festival is to reveal the creative potential of young people, to ensure their more active participation in public life. The theme of this year's festival is Nizami Ganjavi's work in connection with the proclamation of 2021 as the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" in Azerbaijan by the order of President Ilham Aliyev.
Rector of the Academy Fuad Hajiyev spoke about the work done by ASAPES in recent years to comprehensively develop young people, increase their knowledge and skills. Noting the importance of the "Student Spring" festival in revealing the creative potential of young people, F. Hajiyev stressed that the students of the Academy were among the winners of the festival.
ASYOU board chairman Parviz Miralamli said the "Student Spring" national art festival was dedicated to various topics every year, and young people participated in this event with great enthusiasm. Emphasizing that the audience of the event has been expanding year by year, P. Miralamli noted that the winners of the "Student Spring" worthily represented our country at international festivals.
At the end, the winners of the XV Republican Student Art Festival "Student Spring" were awarded.
It should be noted that Ali Aliyev, a student of the Faculty of Economics and Management of SSU, was awarded the first place in the Mugam nomination at the "Student Spring" national creative festival.
