SSU EMPLOYEES IN THE TRAINING OF ANAS
On July 29, the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the Department of International Relations of the Ministry of Education jointly organized a training for representatives of higher education institutions. The purpose of the training was to expand research activities in HEIs and to study more closely the existing financial opportunities in this area.
The informative event, coordinated by the Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Biology Esmira Alirzayeva, provided extensive information on the application for research grant projects, the HORIZON program and other resources.
The online event was also attended by the Azerbaijani coordinators of programs offering scientific funding opportunities such as HORIZON Europe, COST, Marie Skladowka-Curie - Tofig Babayev (HORIZON), Zaur Hasanov (Marie Skladowka-Curie), Ilham Humbatov (COST), Rahima Gabulova (working program on Medicine), Rovshan Karimov (Project writing and quality criteria).
At the same time, the opportunities to create a network in order to strengthen the exchange of information in the field of work with grants and projects between the Department of Foreign Relations of ANAS and the Department of International Relations of higher education institutions were discussed at the event.
The training was attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations, Associate Professor Gafar Atayev from Sumgayit State University, Head of the Science Department, Associate Professor Samir Orujov and an employee of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreigner Students Sadagat Fatullayeva.
