In response to the provocations of the occupying Armenian armed forces, the significance, essence and consequences of the 44-day war, which began under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev and resulted in the complete victory of Azerbaijan, will be analyzed for many years. Thanks to the unity of the Azerbaijani people, the iron will of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the unshakable determination, the strength of our Glorious Army and the unity of the servicemen, whose hearts are full of patriotism, the Azerbaijani people have won. It is an undeniable fact that victory in war is achieved through bloodshed on the battlefield. The phrase "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!" uttered by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief became a slogan leading our army to victory. If our young people, who died for the independence of our homeland and the liberation of our lands, are martyred for this sacred cause, it is the greatness of our people. As a Turk, we are a nation that nurtures heroes. "Long live the Motherland," said the parents, who buried their young son. Everyone in front of the tomb says, "We are proud of you, Azerbaijani soldier, protect your homeland with honor." "Long live the Motherland". There is a high level of patriotism, courage and conviction in everyone who is proud to be a martyr. Monuments and trees are planted in the honor of martyrs everywhere.

On September 27, at the initiative of the Sumgayit City Executive Power, a tree-planting campaign was held in Sumgayit to immortalize the memory of our martyrs who died in the Patriotic War, which ended in victory on September 27. The campaign was attended by the staff of many departments, enterprises and organizations of the city. The staff of Sumgayit State University took an active part in the tree-planting campaign. As part of the campaign, our employees planted 150 evergreen trees.
