SSU REPRESENTATIVE IN THE TRAINING FOR QUALIFICATION RECOGNITION
On September 27, a training on "Recognition of qualifications of foreign countries in higher education" was organized by the Sector of Education and Work with Foreign Students of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and by the participation of the employees of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education. The training was moderated by Akbar Aliyev, a specialist of the Sector of Education and Work with Foreign Students of International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Education, and was then continued by Fariz Gasimzadeh, Chief Adviser of the Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.
In his presentation, the speaker spoke about the differences that may arise in the recognition of qualifications, which are very important in the process of admission of foreign citizens, and explained in detail the provisions of the legislation to eliminate such cases. He announced the methods of legalization of foreign students applying for higher education in our country, if the previous educational document differs from the national qualifications. In the online training, participants addressed their questions to the speakers through interactive communication.
The event was attended by Sadagat Fatullayeva, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students from Sumgayit State University.
