SSU EMPLOYEE AWARDED A CERTIFICATE IN A PROJECT CARRIED OUT BY ADA UNIVERSITY AND THE US EMBASSY IN AZERBAIJAN
On September 24, ADA University hosted a ceremony to present certificates to the winners of the “Building and Enhancing Research Capacity Network in Azerbaijan” project.
The project, which began in February, was mentored by professor-teaching staff of ADA University with funding from the US Embassy in Azerbaijan. The main goal of the project was to provide Azerbaijani researchers with theoretical information in the field of acquisition and development of new knowledge and skills in the field of research, as well as support in publishing the results of their research in high-index journals.
The project undertook training in three areas: research methods, academic writing, and statistical analysis. The trainings were conducted in English and on the Blackboard Learning System mobile platform.
Specialists of higher education institutions, independent researchers completed research in a wide range of social sciences (political science, sociology, psychology, law, gender issues) through a multi-stage selection round under the supervision of leading professors from ADA University and US Universities.
Sadagat Fatullayeva, Head of the Department of International Cooperation and Foreign Students from Sumgayit State University, participated in the project with a scientific article on "Intercultural dialogue and its impact on ethical values" and her work was evaluated by experts with 95 points and awarded a certificate.
